Private equity healthcare exit activity has declined the last two years, but in recent months there have been several milestone transactions bolstered by a new wave of PPM consolidators: pharma / drug distributors and multi-specialty acquirers. These two buyer cohorts provide more exit options for investor-backed MSOs and have added renewed confidence in the secondary market for specialty physician platforms.
